I know. I think it was more prompted by some of the comments I read. But also in solidarity for others who have to deal with this. Because often when one mentions their struggles, you’re considered ungrateful or whatever. It’s a catch 22 situation, hence the importance to just make peace with all of it, knowing society will always have its opinions. And I can assure you when you grow up and that’s all people seem to see in you and applaud, it’s easy to fall into the trap of believing that’s all you’re good for. It takes a whole lot of stamina to go against the crowd… #emapthy may we always lead with empathy and seek to understand someone else’s context before grouping them. 😇
