I'm low-key feeling these feelings currently.

If I’m honest, I don’t know if I see that many people I’d want to be close friends with now. Almost everyone I know spent two years completely disregarding my family’s safety. They rolled their eyes every time I asked them to do one simple little thing for me. Now a senior economic fellow is asking me to make myself vulnerable to them?
